Gerardo is racist and discriminate the people. He respects only people who is mexican or speak spanish. Worst place i ever been.
The most beautiful restaurant on the Bay, best food, best service. We look for alternatives because we've been returning for over 20 years and believe we should "branch out". But then we return to Scott's Seafood at Jack London Square again, and always happy we that we again chose Scotts.

Now hear me out… If you’re willing to go to Oakland and visit Jack London Square. Make sure you go to Scotts seafood by the water. When you first walk in, you have the pianist, playing beautiful music that radiates all throughout the restaurant. It feels like you’re walking back into time where they smoke cigarettes at the dining table lol. Beautiful views all throughout the building you can see the water from just about anywhere they give you bread and butter while you wait for your food and it’s pleasant, the bread was nice and soft and the butter wasn’t too hard to spread. I went ahead and ordered the pasta jambalaya with a side of rice & a cocktail. I forgot what my friend ordered but it looked absolutely delicious. The flavor is definitely there and you will get a taste of the south when you go if you’re looking for a more upscale, southern food type of vibe.

We dined here last night. We were quite disappointed with our experience. Due to the pandemic, it had been 3 or 4 years since we'd been in but it did not live up to our memories. I know food prices have risen everywhere so we were expecting a hefty price tag, but we also expected the quality of food to match. My steak was really dry and fatty. It came with a baked potato and they bring a little set of pots with toppings to garnish yourself. In the middle of fixing my potato, a different waiter came up and said I couldnt keep it and walked off with it. I hadnt even finished putting toppings on! Just seemed really rude, he could have waited til I was done. I will say our actual waiter Enrique was amazing. Friendly, attentive, great service.
The other thing that upset me was when we made the reservation, we noted it was to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We had our reception in their ballroom, so we've come back many years since to celebrate our anniversary. In the past they have given us a bottle of wine, champagne toast, or rose, etc. as well as a commemorative photo. We have a collection of anniversary dinner photos. This year they didnt do anything. Again I get things are more expensive so no wine or rose I understand, but you cant afford a polaroid? You cant even say happy anniversary? Kind of a let down.

Scott’s Seafood gave us an experience we will never forget. I had the filet mignon plate and the oyster plate, and both were standouts in their own way.
The oysters were incredibly fresh, with a clean, briny flavor that tasted like the ocean itself. The presentation was appealing, and they paired wonderfully with the accompaniments—whether it was the traditional mignonette or a hint of lemon. If you’re a fan of oysters, Scott’s definitely delivers on quality and freshness.
As for the filet mignon, it was cooked to perfection, with a nice sear on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. The steak was well-seasoned, and each bite had that melt-in-your-mouth texture you’d hope for in a well-prepared filet. It was accompanied by sides that complemented the dish without overshadowing the main event.
Overall, Scott’s Seafood impressed with both their seafood and steak offerings, making it a great spot whether you’re craving something from the sea or land. The ambiance and service also added to the experience, making it a place I’d return to for another memorable meal.

Beautiful place with a great view. For that reason everything is overpriced. The food was really good though even the cheeseburger. Specialty cocktails are about $20.

While the crab Louie salad was delicious, the Scott’s seafood trio is bland and strange in taste.

Scott's is such a wonderful restaurant. The location, the service, and the oh so tasty food. Was saddened when the Walnut Creek location was closed. Looking forward to going back again to Scott's.

Pilar in Jack London Square; loosing its touch. Atmosphere is beautiful. Service was okay… Food not so much.
Parking: Valet parking was good but slow. Scott’s will valet date your ticket. However, we still paid $12.50.
