I ordered online. Originally thought was not enough for the price. I changed my mind it was very good and filling

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, today's experience changed my opinion completely. I was not only ignored, but also treated rudely. When I chose not to leave a tip and calmly explained that the waitress had not helped me at all, the man at the cashier (who I assume is the owner) responded with an unprofessional and disrespectful comment: “There are pictures on the menu, you don’t know how to see?”

That level of treatment is unacceptable. This will definitely be my last visit.

I would strongly recommend that the owner ensure the staff receives proper customer
service training, and ideally, also improve their English communication skills. While menus with pictures can help, they are not always clear — and it’s the staff’s responsibility to assist customers, not mock them.

My favorite restaurant in the Bay Area. This place is a gem. If you come when it's busy you get to watch them making the hand cut noodles in the window. The best noodles ever.

I ordered combination fried rice. It is the best fried I ever had. They made it taste just right. I saw people around me ordering the hand made noodle. It seems popular.

This is a hidden Mom and Pop gem. My friend told me to get the Sesame hand pulled noodles and what an amazing dish. So much flavor and the portions are large. Very good spot for Chinese food all together. Definitely recommend this spot!

Fantastic food in Oakland's Chinatown. Handmade noodles and expansive menu - there's something for everyone. Attentive service and food came out really fast.

Small seating area and expect at least a short wait on the weekends. Great for groups of 2-6 people.

Not the most kid friendly place, but they aren't discouraged.

Parking: Parking can be difficult to find directly on the street - give yourself a few extra minutes.

This place is amazing. It's a hole in the wall gem. A handful of tables, diner type of feel almost. We got water and tea brought to us quickly. The server helped us pick out the dumplings and the hand pulled noodles with beef. So good. It was soo sooo good. Best i have ever had. The place is definitely different, but you can see it's made for function. They refilled our waters so many times, and we realized that we needed it after walking in the heat of a great day out. Definitely recommend. We shared the noodles and dumplings between the two of us and we were full! Great value. The picture is of just my plate after taking about a 1/4 ish of the main plate. Dumplings not pictured.

DELICIOUS!! We got a lot of food for our group of 5: sesame paste hand made noodles, stir fried rice cakes, braised green beans, shan dong beef, shan dong dumplings with pork and veggies, leek and egg stuffed pancake. Everything was fantastic!!! Most popular is the hand made sesame noodles but I loved the rice cake and green beans the best! Service was also VERY fast. Food started coming out within 5 mins

This place was highly recommended to us. We ordered a few dishes to try. The hand pulled noodles were a bit weird. They were a bit too thick so the center was actually a little uncooked. The dumplings skin were also too thick for us. Overall, still a good value meal as expected from Chinatown.
