Arguably the most overhyped, overpriced shawarma I’ve had. 1. The tabouli has no seasoning on it: no oil, no salt, no lemon. 2. The beef (or lamb? Who knows!) shawarma is dry and seasoned exclusively with cumin. You get it in the cheapest mass-produced tortilla they could find. This is as authentic as Taco Bell. 3. The falafels are tiny and dry and completely tasteless. 4. There is no table service of any kind (order at the front, pick up your own food, grab your own cutlery, wipe your own table down!) and you don’t realize this until after tipping on your excessively priced meal. 5. The pickles were chopped up by someone who doesn’t eat pickles 6. You get plastic cutlery and you have to literally lean over a bunch of overflowing trash cans to grab them. The cutlery is also dirty: i found hair on the first knife I grabbed. 7. The Spanish music coming out of the kitchen is a great description of what this hole is
It’s a filthy spot with flies flying around, dirty tables and cutlery, and horrible food. Frankly, it’s what you expect coming to a middle eastern spot that doesn’t have a single middle eastern employee. It’s like going to a Mexican joint with Chinese folk running the kitchen. It’s obviously going to be a poor impression of what the food should be, but being as filthy as it is just makes it so much worse.
If you are middle eastern and expecting authentic food then don’t trust the reviews, you will leave disappointed. You are a fool if you come here, you are even a bigger fool if you tip. Don’t believe the hype and don’t waste your money.

Great food and great music! Falafel are perfectly crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Delicious fries, shawarma and pickled veggies. Toum sauce is addictive! Plus this place is Palestinian owned so important to support.

I ordered during my lunch break through DoorDash, how do you staple the receipt to a bag with the supposed contents and not make sure you put all of the contents in the bag? I ordered a falafel sandwich with fries, and only got fries, it took 30min to get cold fries and two dips? I spoke to someone who answered the phone they said , oh here is the falafel on the counter, we apologize we have a new employee. We will reimburse you, but they only reimbursed for the falafel and not the delivery fee?!?!? So at least I got the fries right? Weird…

I had the chicken shawarma plate and it was absolutely the most delicious shawarma I’ve had in the US. The spices are on point and they definitely don’t skimp on quantity. If you come to the Oakland/ San Francisco area, you have to try it! Delicious!

I would rank this in the top 10 shawarma I've had, with its well balanced flavors, good portion sizes, and excellently cooked food.

Ordered pickup 5-8 times, always delicious and fresh, orders are filled quickly. Chicken shwarma wrap, Lamb shwarma wrap , Chicken Arabi style wrap, Tahini salad. Shwarma fries. All great choices 👍
