Very culturally specific. A male started to take my order. A group of males came in and he began talking to them and I was ignored until a nother server (woman) took my order. It was definitely a cultural thing. However, the rest of the service was great and the food was amazing.
The food is okay. Some things are very sweet, like beans. They are very sweet, but I advise you to change the location of the restaurant, because the street you are on is not suitable for the Islamic nation, because it is a rude street and a place where we neglect myself. I am prepared to visit you again to this place because it gives chills to the body. We ask God for guidance for all.
I was excited to try SHEBA, given the appealing photos of Yemeni dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The pictures didn’t match what was served—portions were smaller, and the presentation was underwhelming. As for the flavor, it was just okay, nothing to rave about. The spices that are usually the hallmark of Yemeni cuisine didn’t quite hit the mark, leaving the dishes tasting somewhat bland. Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but I expected a lot more....
