Solid high quality ramen. However they recently changed their recipe I think for white bird, which imo was their best item. Somehow the aroma and creaminess is just not the same. Too bad, because I racked up so many visits just for that and now I hardly have a reason to go back. If they serve up the og white bird again, I'll be back for sure!

Hands down best ramen in the Bay Area: the noodles, broth, toppings - even the bowls are in their own league of flavorful and amazing. I feel like if Ferran Adria opened up a ramen shop, it'd be like this. Highly recommend their karaage as well, which isn't listed on the menu and is delicious and super crispy on the outside. Ambiance is peaceful, modern, and spacious; staff are really welcoming and courteous.

I have no clue how they make this so well... I'm a regular, obviously. Ok, I understand that all places in the Public Market are 5 star, but Shiba Ramen is just unexplainable... The flavors, amount, cooking time, everything is perfect here... and they don't take that long to finish either... I really have no idea why they're so good... I only wish they had a few more spicy options, but that ain't reason to take any of their stars. These guys deserve the best!

I've enjoyed the Shiba wings and dry ramen here before so thought I'd save time and order a 12 pieces online for pickup. SILLY ME! They brought out 6 wings and asked if I wanted to wait for them to cook 6 more or just take the 6 they had ready. I waited for the complete dozen and 6 were perfectly fine while the other half was soggy and greasy. Not a good experience.?

Underwhelming. The broth is blend and price is steep for a small portion of food.Store also needs some practice with customer service as when the noodle we served the soup spoon has already fell into the broth.I guess the best description I can give this place is average. Because that is what this is. Not terrible not great either.

Served me raw chicken, would NOT eat here, now I have to wait to see if I have salmonella symptoms. Great.

If you are ever in the Bay and you don't stop by this place, you are missing out. We fortunately found parking nearby and we arrived around 445p. There was a line waiting for the restaurant to open! That tells you that you're in for a treat.

If it's any indication we order out only once a week & try to spread our love out during these trying times to as many small restaurants as possible but we can't help but repeatedly order from this place. I'm a bit picky about my ramen & this place nails it. Great on a chilly night!
