Sadly, this best NY Pizza place has closed permanently. I'll miss you, Slicer!

Best thin pizza in Oakland. Excellent toppings. Staff always friendly.

After about five years of staying away, I thought I'd give this place another try. Big mistake. Luke warm slices, lots of grease, and the same dismissive attitude that drove me away the first time. I went from 2 stars to 1, and would have given it a zero if possible. Never again!!!

Finally found a place with great thin New York style pizza. So far we've tried the pepperoni, house made sausage and mushrooms. They were all delicious. I also really like their arugula salad. The staff is friendly and I appreciate how I did not have to step into the place during the pandemic to grab the pizza. They have a table in the doorway and they just hand it to you.

I just finished an amazing roasted cauliflower pizza. Great flavor/ingredients. I phoned ahead and it was ready when I arrived. Pleasant interaction. An experience to be repeated! Thank you, Slicer Pizzeria crew!

I didn't eat anything yet but according to the smell I can tell it's marvelous and I love pepperoni and sausage pizza topped with olives ????

Tried this spot in the past with my friend and I am obsessed since then. I like the fantastic character and fresh food and beverages. Kudos.

Found a big glob of what looks a lot like hair in our door dash pizza order. When I called the restaurant they said it was "from the mushrooms" (not sure what mushrooms have fibers like this on them) and that they've have repeated complaints just like ours but rest assured it's not hair. Um, that doesn't make me feel okay at all about continuing to support this establishment. Either it really is hair and someone is lying or it's been an ongoing quality control problem that they can't seem to get under control. Either way I can't trust eating here anymore. FYI- looking back at their other reviews, a customer from over a year ago posted a similar complaint about a blob of hair in the pizza. Anyhow, we used to love this place but won't be coming back. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk Disgusted and hungry in Oakland

We just tried Sliver Pizzeria on Broadway for the first time as we found out it is run by ex-Cheese Board chefs. I'd noted this place before but didn't know what it was, had dismissed it as a no name pizza joint (big mistake!). We did pick up through Caviar due to the shelter in place - it was easy and efficient. First impression - the interior decor is very nice, lots of wood, big open space, open kitchen view and high ceilings - it would be nice to sit in (maybe some day in the future). We ordered the special of the day (asparagus) with both sauces on the side. The pizza was delicious, the crust was a little chewy, maybe because we were reheating at home. We LOVED the sauces, especially the green one! Adds a ton of flavor and we'll use the leftovers as a dip for a baguette later. We'll definitely be back, tasty, affordable, and gourmet much closer than Arizmendi or Cheese board!

Thank you for being open during this stay home era! I am so grateful to have a bomb pizza shop to still get healthy fresh pizza from on pick up. Your pizza is awesome, tasty, and healthy . I love your style and the ovens you use.

One of my newest favorite places to eat at. I'm obsessed. I'm vegetarian so I love that these are vegetarian. I was apprehensive at first, corn, potatoes, etc on pizza? Boy was I wrong, they're delicious! I love their green sauce and the limes. Wish there was a place closer to Castro valley!

Oddly delicious. No sauce on the pizza itself but you dip it in a sauce of your choice. Not ketchup lol. Different but it works very well. The crust isn't soggy but more crispy, I loved it. Great pizza.
