Sobo Ramen is a must-visit for ramen lovers. The broth is rich, the noodles are perfect, and the flavors are spot on. Plus, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Ramen is not my thing….
Fried chicken and dumplings are pretty good
A lot of noodles
But not like Japanese ramen
The fried dumplings, fried chicken and fried tofu ordered as appetizers are all good.

Not sure if I came at a bad time but this place was extremely underwhelming. I ordered the black garlic mayu ramen and it came out lukewarm. The broth/chashu had no depth or flavor. Also ordered the chicken gyoza which had what seemed to be like chili garlic bits on top which tasted far too burnt to enjoy. Definitely not worth checking this place out with so many other options for ramen in the area. Kudos to the server though. She was the only one on during the lunch rush and was holding it down pretty well.

Low-key space with absolutely delicious ramen. I'm surprised it's not packed! Love it every time I got there. Love the tonkatsu!

The ramen we ordered was nice, it's not salty and you can definitely enjoy the hot soup.
Karaage was good. We ordered hot house sake too.
The servers was very nice.

So delicious!! Got the vegetarian miso ramen and the agedashi tofu appetizer and loved them both. Generous amount of veggies and balanced flavors. Good vibes too :)

Food is tasty but overpriced. Eighteen dollars for a standard ramen bowl. There are other cheaper options around.

It’s kind of criminal that this place is a 4.4. In new to the Bay Area and tried maybe six ramen places like Mensho that people raved about and this ramen joint was far far and away better than them.
Great karage and friendly server. Cool old school vibe. If I had to make any recommendation or changes it would be to switch to disposable chop sticks. I’m not a fan of having the reusable ones.

So so good! The right amount of noodles and toppings and it wasn't too salty. The atmosphere was really cute and cozy. Definitely going again!
