Grabbed dinner to go. Best Ramen we have experienced in Oakland. It's a little of the main route. Maybe that's because we don't know the city that we'll yet. We will visit again.

I only got the classic pork ramen. It lacked the usual ramen that you can taste any where that has ramen. I asked for hot Sake and it was cold. After the subpar service and food, they wanted a tip. I gave a tip worthy of their service. Overall, just not a fan.

Used to go to this place for lunch all the time. Got the spicy miso ramen. Noodles are homemade, thin and somewhat al dented. Great texture. Char siu was tender and delicious. They had two types of char siu in the bowl. Mushrooms have good texture. The seaweed and green onion garnish take it over the top. Broth was a tad over reduced this time. Maybe it's just been a while

Spicy Miso Ramen was great! Also tried Tonkatsu but preferred the spicy Miso broth more. Everything is good here, must try!

Super cute spot, service is always super quick, for ordering and receiving food. This is the best Ramen spot I've found in the Bay Area so far.

Super solid shoyu ramen with chashu. Broth and veggies were excellent. Pretty quiet dinner scene on a Thursday.

Tried their spicy miso ramen. Noodles were good, chewy. I didn’t like their broth. Felt it was strangely overpowered by the kombu they put in it. Had green onions, mushrooms, a yummy jammy egg, and bok choy. Not my favorite ramen in the bay. Service was fine enough.

Hate to leave a review like this but in a town that’s bursting at the seams with solid ramen options, this was just not good. I chose this based on location and the solid google reviews, but the ramen was just not edible, almost none of us finished our meals, nor the vinegary beer that was just not drinkable. No comment or “how is everything” from the waiter. Sorry but skip this one.

The agedashi tofu, bacon-wrapped quail eggs, spicy miso ramen, and homemade mochi were all great

Sobo Ramen is a must-visit for ramen lovers. The broth is rich, the noodles are perfect, and the flavors are spot on. Plus, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Ramen is not my thing….
Fried chicken and dumplings are pretty good

Sha Sha (Shasha)

A lot of noodles
But not like Japanese ramen

The fried dumplings, fried chicken and fried tofu ordered as appetizers are all good.
