As a French person, I can tell you that their pastries are very good and the croissant & chocolate croissant are better than in some bakeries in France. The bread and baguette are also very good and it's average price compared to what we see in the Bay Area. I'm not giving 5 stars for the following reasons which I hope they will improve:

Amazing bakery. Had pear and blackberry meringue kouign amann and a chef’s special veggie quiche. Both were amazing and baked to perfection. The tart on the quiche was thin and perfectly crumbly. Would go out of my way to stop by at this place.

Starter Bakery is such a gem! Their chocolate croissant is absolutely classic—flaky, buttery, and so addictive that you’ll be thinking about it long after you’ve finished. The latte is good too, though a tiny tweak could make it perfect. Overall, a really enjoyable spot—definitely worth a visit if you love pastries and coffee!
