Oakland must-see
Just not very good food. Sorry. Have had a lot of ramen around the East and West Bay and this simply doesn’t hold up. Unsure where all the high ratings are coming from. We had a big party with lots of different orders and frankly none of it was very distinctive or tasty. Except for the black sesame ice cream sandwich. That was pretty good. And the chairs are far and away some of the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever sat on.
Came here due to good reviews. Personally it’s fine, wouldn’t come back because of the price. Had reserved for a party of 9 people and this place was able to accommodate that just fine. Miso ramen was good, but I wouldn’t spend $30 again. After we finished our dinner, waited for the server to come by but after like 8 minutes, I had to go up to someone else to get the check.
