I ordered a medium whole roast pork for my mom's 80th in 2022 and it was so delicious. The service was efficient and the taste is solid.

Came to try their beef tendon and it was very tender, light, and tasty! Highly recommend. Their roast pork and chicken feet also great!

Super yummy char siu pork, soy sauce chicken, veggie, stuffed meat tofu triangles, duck wings, roast ducks, crispy skin roast pig, etc.

Very Un-honest, they cheat people. I bought twice there, the first time they sold me an overnight duck, maybe more than two nights, it tastes very bad and stale; today when I asked if the one they gave me is not fresh, because it looks like not fresh, I was told it was fresh. But it is definitely not, it’s cold, dry and stale. The reason I tried this shop one more time is that it is Chinese new year and all other shops has a long waiting line…

Best crispy roast pork I've had in Oakland Chinatown. Their poached quails are good too, you won't find them in many other restaurants. Staff are friendly.

Came in to give this place a second chance, since I saw the pork hanging through the window, I walked in and glanced at the floor and there it was a small mouse or rat. I turned around and walked straight out. No thanks!

Chinatown is definitely a difficult area to find the best of the best as far food is concerned because there is so much delicious food spread out within only a few blocks. This place will forever remain one of my favorites because all the food is made fresh, the selection is diverse and the prices won't hurt your pockets. If you aren't familiar with many traditional Chinese food staples like chicken feet or pork belly; it may be daunting at first, but trust me when I say that even the unfamiliar can quickly become your favorite; you just have to give it a try. If you don't believe me, just follow the crowd as any place with a line of at least 7-12 people constantly waiting; must be pretty good.

We ordered a whole roast suckling pig from Sun Hing and were very pleased. We served it as part of a Vietnamese 1st birthday celebration (the desserts surrounding the pig in the picture were homemade). I ordered the pig 8 days in advance, and paid a deposit in cash. The whole pig was $240. The pig had a perfect crispy skin, and juicy meat. It was definitely on the saltier side, but I think that's fairly typical for the dish. Would definitely order from here again in the future for this type of special order.

Overall so far 3/5, so rounded up to 4 from what I've eaten there so far...I've only done take out here once so far and I'll admit to it being pretty decent enough for me to try out a few more dishes from this place just to see how good they are or aren't. But, my usual go to in Chinatown had a huge line to the point I just wanted to grab and go and this was on the way to Bart. The outside window food looked inviting overall, so I opted to try just alittle chow mein. The small take out box was around $3, and when I had a chance to eat it, I thought the chow mein was quite flavorful but a tad greasy but I was sort of surprised or disappointed not to see any protein in it. So that's why I had to only give them 3 stars, it may go up if I get a chance to stop by and buy a few more items from this little hole in the wall so only time will tell.

Decided to get some BBQ pork from them and saw that they were also selling cooked food so I added an order of sweet & sour pork, this was the BIGGEST mistake I've ever made in food ordering. I took home the sweet & sour pork and bite into a piece of straight up lard, it turns out, EVERY SINGLE PIECE in my order was just lard aka fat. I have never felt so cheated by a restaurant where they sell you a box of coated fat pieces and called it pork. I would not come here ever again, I only came back because it was the only place open for roast meats, but I'd rather starve then buy a box of fat.

I just found this roast pork in summer times, They roast pork has crispy skin and super heavy bean sauce in the bottom of the meat. must try. My favor " half fat and thin ,"半肥瘦" is the best roast duck - no good, too dry and less favor
