My fave place to grab n go some homemade muy rico tamales! It's literally a window you order at, limited street parking, but you can get thicc delicious tamales hot and ready to eat or to keep for another day. They last a week in the fridge. But mine never last that long. Chicken is my fave, the cheese is good too. Veggies is my least fave but I still like it! Huge portions. Quality people and hearty tamales. Go get you some from Tamaleria Azteca!
Honestly if you don't like these tamales there is no hope for you. Am Mexican and lived in mexico and these tamales are as legit as they come. Think mexican food in the bay area is shit overall but these have me coming back for more for the taste, authenticity, and quality
I love their food and service. The tamales and excellent and the masa is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes they have daily specials which are also delicious such as tacos dorados and eliotes in a cup. Yum.
I don’t eat pork so the owner makes the masa with oil instead of lard, if I place a minimum order. Thanks Sergio for accommodating my diet restrictions.
