This place is 3 blocks away from me. I get my morning din sum and lunch here. It's a little dusty, but the food always fresh.

They charge more than their online menu price. It was $14 for 8 siu mai. Please update your online menu prices and do not overcharge in person:

Perhaps prices have gone up, but very expensive for a hole in the wall and the area. Better dim sum can be found nearby.

Pros: * Nice ladies at the counter * Average tasting take-out dim sum * Free parking lot Cons: * Prices Ordered: * Siu Mai ($? each) * Har Gow ($? each) * Lotus Wrapped Chicken Rice ($5.00 each) * Plain Steamed Buns ($1.20 each) Would I Return: I keep telling myself not to but the conveience is the winning factor. Thoughts: I have been coming here since they opened. As of Jun 2023, the pricing of a Lotus Wrapped Chicken Rice is $5.00 and a large rice porridge (32 oz) is $5.00. A bit more pricey than Chinatown. I have now become quite suspicious of their pricing (no pricing written on the walls). I understand price of raw materials went up during Covid but they are leveling down to pre-Covid levels. Today my bill came to $37.50 for: * (6) Siu Mai * (6) Har Gow * (2) Lotus Wrapped Chicken Rice * (6) Plain Steamed Buns OUCH!

Great selection of dim sum, chow fun, chow mein, jook and chinese donuts. The ladies are nice. They only take cash and Venmo/Zelle.

I love this little hole in the wall. The neighborhood looks sketchy, but they always serve you with a smile. The sesame balls are spot on.

Located blocks away from downtown Oakland Chinatown, in a small plaza with parking for about 20 cars. Stopped in here to pick-up some dim sum to-go. Cash-only establishment. I like that you can order individual pieces. Total was $20 for 2 xiu mai (steamed pork dumplings), 2 har gow (steamed shrimp dumplings), 1 ham sui gok (savory fried mochi with pork filling), 1 small beef chow fun, 1 small congee (rice porridge). This was enough for 2 people to share. My favorites were the xiu mai and har gow. Everything else tasted bland or underwhelming. Apparently, you can preorder online via the link to their website, yet payment is still cash-only. Their website posted prices, while their onsite menu board does not. I feel like I was charged more compared to their online prices for what I ordered.

Didn't get several things I ordered. One thing I did get was the wrong item. Then it rang up to $43? For not much food. Disappointed.

This place was ok you need cash and they didn't have an ATM so make sure you have cash and the food was ok .

The best dim sum and pastry literally has the best dim sum and pastry. I like getting the congee here especially during the winter and/or when I'm feeling sick. I love their steamed chicken bun and can eat those all day. This place is cash only and the parking lot is really busy.

WHEN: Thursday @1:30pm I grew up coming here for the pastries, especially the egg tarts. It's been many many years since I've gone back, and with it being much later in the day, there's not as many pastries left. It's cash only but they do have a sign out with thier venmo and Zelle info for payment. I don't remember the cost of each pastry but I recall it being quite reasonable. Overall the pastries are just okay. However what was really good was the GLUTONOUS RICE BALL with meat filling. The pastry part was gooey and sweet, which mixed si well with the savory meat filling. The EGG TARTS were oddly orange, and didn't taste great. Not sure what it is but it's definitely not how they used to be. I think this place is more known for their dim sum dishes. They all looked really good and I will have to come back for them. Although they have their own parking lot, it's usually pretty full. There's also street parking but be careful since it's street sweeping every Thursday!

Used to come here all of the time for no-fuss dimsum among other items. Was nearby and stumbled upon this old favorite and excited to eat it again after so many years. I was taken aback by the prices (yes, I understand inflation, but still). For har gow or pork shu mai, it is $1.50 PER PIECE. A standard order of 4 pieces is thus $6. At this price, I could go down to a sit down dim sum restaurant for cheaper, in my opinion and experience. The sizes of the dim sum are pretty good though. The shrimp har gow tasted just how I remembered! Great shrimp flavor and excellent wrapping-- not too thick or thin. The pork one was good, but not great. It was way too fatty for me, and I'm typically a bigger fan of pork versus shrimp. The ladies working there were a little rude, but didn't deter me. I'd come back if it wasn't so expensive, but probably only for the shrimp har gow.

I go here from Alameda because the prices are the best and I don't want to drive to Oakland Chinatown to Tau Yuen and wait in the long a$$ lines. Been coming here for 8 years now and always leave with a pink box or two and some dim sum. Last time I went here I ran into an old neighbor who also lives in Alameda. The parking lot is small and people park like you would expect people to park in Oakland. In the middle of the lane, over the white line, check. But once you are inside, you are good to go to load up with Har Gow, Sui Mai, egg tarts, steam or baked pork or chicken buns, almond cookies, porridge, sweet buns, chicken feet, Chinese donuts, etc. Only thing I've never got here I feel is the cakes.

Didn't get several things I ordered. One thing I did get was the wrong item. Rang up to $43 for very few things. The food I got and could eat was alright. Definitely not worth $43
