WHEN: Thursday @1:30pm I grew up coming here for the pastries, especially the egg tarts. It's been many many years since I've gone back, and with it being much later in the day, there's not as many pastries left. It's cash only but they do have a sign out with thier venmo and Zelle info for payment. I don't remember the cost of each pastry but I recall it being quite reasonable. Used to come here all of the time for no-fuss dimsum among other items. Was nearby and stumbled upon this old favorite and excited to eat it again after so many years. I was taken aback by the prices (yes, I understand inflation, but still). For har gow or pork shu mai, it is $1.50 PER PIECE. A standard order of 4 pieces is thus $6. The best dim sum and pastry literally has the best dim sum and pastry. I like getting the congee here especially during the winter and/or when I'm feeling sick. I love their steamed chicken bun and can eat those all day. This place is cash only and the parking lot is really busy.
