I stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday afternoon and was seated fast. The services was quick and friendly. The food here was amazing and cooked perfectly. The jam made in house was next level, I put it on everything. When in town check this place out for good eats. 💥 They also have pastries too.

Giving two stars instead of one because the barista is very nice. However, the coffee is extremely bitter, there’s no wifi, and there’s very little seating unless you’re eating in the restaurant. It’s also expensive, with a small regular latte costing $5.

This place is great. It's exactly what you want from a local coffee shop/diner.

🌞👥🌞 It's a good place to get good coffee and a grate meal. You might be wating maybe alittle longer thsm some places but it's worth it.🌞👥🌞

Coffee Mill has never had great coffee, but the food is pretty good, and it's a nice place to go with the pup (dog friendly patio dining). I don't know what's happened in the past few months, but the service is just going downhill. Even the people who are usually good servers are just not up to par. I've taken to going down to Farley's for a great cup of coffee, though the service is also not great.

If you have not taken a trip to the Coffee Mill, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice.

Good place to eat when you desire the old traditional breakfast. My appreciation is that they will cook your breakfast just as requested without making you feel like your asking for more than requested.

Very nice neighborhood breakfast spot in a great location of Oakland with outdoor seating. Great for meeting up with a friend before being corraled by the days commitments. I had the grits and shrimp and it hit the spot. DELICIOUS!

Don't come here if you're looking to have coffee and to get some work done. After I ordered my coffee, I was told I could not sit at a table. They do have a small area you can sit by the window, tall chairs. Coffee was okay, pre-brew help yourself. "The coffee mill" is meant to be a restaurant, not a coffee shop / cafe.
