3345 Grand Ave Oakland, CA 94610 I was in the Grand/Lakeshore area, and I decided to stop by this place and grab some takeout. The staff were very friendly, and answered my questions. I ordered the Prawn Chow Mein w/ crispy noodles. Now, I expected that their recipe might be a bit different than a Chinese recipe. But the chow mein was dry and bland. i live in the neighborhood and no longer go to east oakland for pho because i love the pho tai here so much. it's a family business and they are really kind and hardworking folks there. support them!

Picked up a banh mi. I was just compelled to say it's really good. It is a bit pricey for banh mi, but it is really good. Make it a combo with their Vietnamese Coffee to make it worth it. Their fries is the old school crinkly cut and plenty.
