Perfect for drinks on a Sunday on Grand Avenue.
Super strong drinks. Came here on a rainy day.
Came here on a weeknight around 10pm and the place had maybe 8 people. Bartender never acknowledged we came in and after about 20 min of watching a couple guys play video games on one of the tvs we left. No comment on the drink as we never got any service. Interesting offers were made to us by other guests at the bathroom. If you are into that this might be a place to try. Might have been an off night. Likely will not return as there are a lot of cool bars in this area.
Nice place to chill and have a good time
I've lived in Oakland a long time! This place used to be the Club Manhattan and The Lucky Lounge now the Libertine!
Lovely little seaside bar with a sunset view and an unbeatable beer collection on tap.
The music is such a great mix! Spacious, clean place! The drinks were so-so, usually not strong enough but not too bad. Bartender was kind, and hard working! Would come back.
Thanks Ronnie for a mellow and good time. Watermelon is... complicated, thanks though
Always a good time here. Drinks are always on point and the staff is excellent.
I recommend this place because people from Buffalo who just moved to Oakland don’t suggest it and go on to smear a beautiful establishment like this. I come here for my pints and am always treated with dignity and respect. More so than I can say about Buffalo. That city sucks. Is filled with drug addicts who actually think the bills have a chance. Come on the bills really? The bills suck. That guy complaining sucks. Cold beer and great people rule

Great vibe, friendly staff, and amazing cocktails.
Drinks were delicious, our bartender was cool, and the parklet makes for fun day drinking and socializing!
Cool neighborhood spot. Good cocktails. Monday night Kareoke.
They definitely put in effort and try hard. The service is very friendly. The drinks are ok. The parklet and the outdoor seating area has given the place a little bit of a boost.
I've been a regular at the Libertine since it was the Lucky Lounge. Love the customer service and neutral location. I'm hoping to continue to visit this spot post-covid. Their covid accomodations are really nice. The outside seating is great. Love this joint ?
