Come here once every weekend to treat myself for lunch or dinner/happy hour. Staff is amazing and kind. The food is great. I love the rotating little sushi boat. Probably will keep coming here for the rest of my life!
I think we've been coming to this place for the better part of a decade and just started again (after a covid break). We were probably going here every other week before covid. It's still the same place with the wonderful hostess. It's fun for adults and kids to gather around the boat carousel and pick off your meal as it floats by. The folks who run the place are absolute gems, and the food is bomb! The auntie is so kind and often gives food to houseless people. The boats are fun of course! Best time to go for boats is 5-630. There are vegan options too. It is my go-to sushi spot in oakland.
