Super sweet service! Friendly and extremely hospitable staff, we had a lovely experience here. The food portions are huge and quality of ingredients made every dish delectable. We all ordered craft coffees and passed them around so we could each try. I would definitely recommend coming here, we will definitely be back!
I'm down here in the Grand Lake area visiting iconic Oakland restaurant locations with a local guide. This Coffee Mill has been here since 1974 I'm told, that's almost 50 years! My guide has been coming here since the 1990's so that's over 30 years. It's been remodeled some over the years and is now more of a breakfast place then bakery, though they still have a lot of baked good to sell like those flaky croissants. I had coffee and a beagle. The beagle was fresh and the coffee was warm even though it was around lunchtime. The covered patio was very nice especially with the sun shining. The next visit will be for the full breakfast.
