At first it felt strange that a space that seemed to be created by activists could also be so posh. Overall it was a pleasurable experience. With the price of the Karma bowl being set on a sliding scale it is inclusive. I'll have to stop back to checkout happy hour at 8pm with ½ price Kava.

Wonderful service and everything is so thoughtfully made! The food is nourishing and I feel good after eating. My favorite is the turmeric daikon congee! Just tried a chocolate mochi bun today, yum!!

This place saved me from an ER visit!I’ve been struggling with a worsening condition of being unable to eat. Having no appetite, I’ll forget to eat until sometimes 5 or 6pm. By that time, stomach acid causes me so much pain that I was eating ice cream every night to soothe it.I know how horrible it sounds and I won’t even say how long I let it go on, saying I was going to eventually go to the doctor for it. I gained weight living on ice cream so I was able to procrastinate even more.Recently, I have not even been able to eat ice cream and have become progressively worse, weak, and food adverse. I didn’t think I would make it to Tuesday to get into Urgent Care. I went to the ER yesterday but saw the full parking lot from the heat wave and went home to be sick in private with more dignity than a hospital lobby. This morning, I woke up and ordered over $100 worth of food from here as soon as they opened. I knew that I used to like, and could handle the mochi buns. Since the sugar would help my blood sugar and keep me going, I went for it. It was a gamble to order the rest because I’ve thrown away hundreds of dollars worth of food since this started.I knew that the ingredients would sustain my body, even if I could only eat a little bit.If I forced myself to eat first thing in the morning, I could probably beat this, if diligent, until the doctors could help. The porridge was exactly what I needed!Soup broth and rice were so soothing that it was like a huge bandaid on an open wound. Huge relief.I was so worried about the flavoring. Many Asian fusion-type places use spicy ingredients and I was worried about the chili oil but they used them just enough to make it delicious while unassuming.I could go on all day but I wrote this hoping that someone reading will have or know someone who is sick and struggling to eat. This isn’t a restaurant as much as it really is a food remedy source.

Excellent holistic eatery! I had turmeric daikon bowl and it was one of the most nourishing meals I had in awhile while out. So good. My friend had an avocado toast she loved it too. Great service and lovely music.

This cute gluten free & organic kitchen spot was a great find! Various options from bowls, grilled cheese, smoothies and more! It's a little small inside, but tables are available streetside. Friendly staff and welcoming of questions from ingredient needs like me! Food was delish!

If you have food sensitivities, this place is for you. If you don't but you enjoy delicious food, this place is also for you!Especially delightful with friends, in the sunshine in their sidewalk seating.Their staff are awesome; definitely careful and attentive to dietary needs, and helpful with the menu and making choices. They have been patient with me while I weigh my options, and they offer useful insights.I love their congee bowls and their weird not-coffee drink. The congee bowls are easy to love. The not-coffee (I can never remember the name of it) is not likely to be loved by many, so if you try it and don't like it... I cannot accept responsibility for your risky choices. Dibs out! But if you DO like it, you're welcome ?I haven't tried them, but an acquaintance who is a regular there tells me their smoothies are consistently banana forward. Use that info as you will.

I have not visited this restaurant in person, but had the unfortunate opportunity of selecting them for delivery via the DoorDash application for dinner. While the everything looked great on the menu and obviously there are many good reviews posted here, the food never made it to me.After waiting 45 minutes for what I thought was the preparation of the items in my order, I was very surprised to receive a call from DoorDash. The restaurant had contacted DoorDash to let them know that they were out of some of the ingredients for the items in my order and that they would need to cancel it.While the reason was very reasonable, I am leaving a one-star review due to the fact that it would not have taken 45 minutes to figure out you were out of the ingredients for my three-item order (two power bowls and one taco).Their dishes may be delicious, but maybe try in-person so that you can make sure to get a timely response on what is available and not available.

The food is very expensive. 16$ for a tuna grilled cheese where the cheese was not melted. Literally the size of a simple piece of toast for 16 bucks. That's more than half an hour's work for me I have to work 45 minutes to get that much money to pay for a sandwich that I eat in 3 minutes. Not everything was organic. It's one place I will not be going back to.

First of all... when I walked in, I was wondering what to get I was approached by a kind gentleman named Danny who recommended me to try the mushroom MCT coffee. All I can say is WOW! not only was the coffee amazing, his personality matched it to!! He is full of energy and kindness!! It's so hard to come across great customer service and I am so glad they have someone like him he really made my day! All I can say is, as long as Danny is there you'll have a loyal customer!!

The staff members were so sweet. I pray they always get tipped well. Their food is also dripping with flavor in every bite. It’s made with so much work. Please go and please tip OUT if u can afford to (as u always should, IF u can afford to!). I had to remind myself to chew my food…it’s that good!

Healing and delicious! The Chaga Chai is authentic and yummy. We tried 4 of the pastries, all are moist and flavorful. We are vegan and gluten free. So grateful this place exists! AND most of their ingredients are organic.

In Temescale on 55th a small takeout place with shiitake mushroom tacos, tofu tacos (Just $5.95) and delicious bowls and drinks. The mushroom “un coffee” is great, they offer the powdered drink mixes to go and they’re delicious with whatever milk you prefer. Here they offer dairy, oat, almond milk. Try it!
