Amazing fresh food and kind faces. I loved the sauces on the Gyro plate and all the fresh seasoned rice and cooked-to-perfection lamb. Bravo! Our new spot when we need something healing ❤️

The food is very yummy and the staff very friendly. The gyro plate and chicken plates have been consistently delicious.

This has changed ownership: I used to be a regular customer so I know who was always working there because it was family owned and run. I got there and didn't recognize the guy so I asked him if it had changed ownership and he gave me an evasive answer that didn't really answer my question. The bread is no longer baked fresh, the rice has cumin in it, the chicken seasoning has changed and they kept my least favorite part of the kebob plate (the lettuce, cucumber and tomato without any dressing). This is super disappointing: I used to love this restaurant but I won't be returning.

It's a drive up without much seating and little in the way of fineries of a restaurant, but this place isn't about that. The gyro plate was delicious, though I could have asked for more tzatziki sauce, I didn't. The rice and meat were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I look forward to trying more off this menu.

Tasty food and good variety. People here are always super kind! Had the lil potato bread ish thing and the gyro and the bowl thing and all of them area great. Lil seating outside the spot, but never been an issue. Would recommend trying!

Tried this takeout restaurant for the first time and the owner was quite friendly, and the menu had a good range of choices. Unfortunately, they did not have the lamb/beef kabob options today, so we opted for the gyro with fries, rice plate with braised beef, and potato bolani. Nearly everything seemed made to order with fresh ingredients. The gyro was excellent with well seasoned meat, soft pita and tasty toppings and good portion size. The rice was also excellent with succulent beef cubes, sweet raisins/currants, carrots and properly cooked rice--just wish there was more meat. The cucumber salad was fresh and a good compliment to the rice but would have benefited from a salad dressing. The potato bolani had good flavor and we should have also gotten the tougher dipping sauce. While there was a small outdoor sitting area, it is really a full takeout place and street parking is variable so plan accordingly. Overall, very good food and look forward to trying other dishes soon!

Hidden gem in West Oakland. Best halal place in the East Bay. Food may take a while, but that's because they're made to order, from scratch. Try the qabuli palow, gyro combo, and bolani.

The combo kebab and veggie kebab are both delicious. Usually I stay away from chicken kebabs because they can be dry and tasteless but Twins Halal does such a fantastic job, the chicken is really flavorful. The lamb and beef are a little on the salty side but absolutely delicious. The lamb especially is so tender. The veggie kebabs are like potato pancakes and really good as well. I believe they include egg as an ingredient but one of us is vegan and we asked for it to be made without egg, and they happily obliged. Rice is delicately spiced with cardamom and other spices. The pita bread is soft and clearly homemade. Their mint and yogurt sauces are delicious but you might want to consider ordering extra since they only come in the tiniest containers.

Seriously, best waffle fries I have ever tried. Take my words for it. The fries are on a whole different level. I wish I ordered another to go. They have the crispiest, fluffiest, freshest fries. I don't know how they did it but I have never tasted fries this good. Not greasy, not a single floppy fry, hot and well-seasoned. They fries are already pretty tasty on their own but when you dip them in the yogurt and cilantro chutney sauces (they may call them something else), they are even better! Their kabobs are also to die for. I want to return there and try the pizza next time. It's a family owned business. There are two small tables for outside seating. It's not in the best neighborhood but I didn't care because I am going back to eat more yummy food!

I came to this place in West Oakland after a long day of work for some dinner as I was craving some Mediterranean food. My fiancé and I were enjoying our food and to my surprise I was absolutely disgusted by the sight of 2 eyelash extensions with the glue in my gyro. I immediately stopped eating and threw it away. It's also mysterious how this place got 5 stars, probably from fictitious reviews.

Really good counter service Mediterranean fare. Really friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Menu current as of june 2022. The gyro I had was really tasty as were their fries. Good amount of garlic and the meat was tender and flavorful.

I’ve been here twice. Both times our dishes were super fresh and everything was delicious. We tried the Kabuli Palau, the combo kebab and the Mantu dumplings. Highly recommend.
