Hard to find good soul food in Oakland and I think I have found it. Everything I had was 10/10. The customer service was 10/10. The owner came and checked in spoke and made sure I was happy with my food.
The food was beyond good, we had the oxtails plate....the service was great and the restaurant was beautiful. My grandmother enjoyed herself; my mom the the poman gumbo was very. Very satisfied...
The food was awesome 👌I had the oxtails, and if I tell you I was dancing in my seat and humming the whole time. If your a foodie like myself your going to love this place, so be ready to make plenty of returns like I'm going to because I need to try everything on the menu. Now the wait staff might need a bit of training on how to handle the patrons in order to get better tips. We were paying our tab and I asked our server her name, and realized she never introduced herself....
