“I’ve lived in this town since I was 4 years old so I remember what La Costa used to be. It was a tiny shack that had the best Mexican food around. Now a days they have a nice building with a fountain outside. It’s so convenient for me to get a quick bite after I’m done with Jiu jitsu at Growth Mindset Collective. I really love this place since the owner lives here in Oakley. We should all be supporting our local business owners that make Oakley a good place to live.”

“I really like the music and friendly customer service provided by this store. The drink flavors are excellent and the boba is cooked perfectly! The strawberry dubai chocolate is so delicious. I’m so happy they have that as an option. I do want to shout out Carolyn. She helped me out today and hustled during a rush of customers. Hands down, they have the best honey walnut shrimp in existence—perfectly crispy, balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and crunch. No matter where else we’ve tried it, nothing compares. We’re genuinely grateful to have such an incredible Chinese restaurant right here in Oakley. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere feels like home, and the service is always warm and respectful. Sharon, the owner, and his son Eric are two of the kindest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet. During my recent visit, I was assisted by a team member named Venay, who provided outstanding service. She took my order with a warm and professional attitude, and ensured that my hamburger was served hot and made to perfection.

I truly appreciate the extra effort Venay put in to make sure I was completely satisfied with my meal. Her dedication to excellent customer service did not go unnoticed. “Good and old fashioned couldn't ask for more my tostada was huge, reminiscent of what my grandma made me. If you want to try authentic tortas in bolillos, go here. On a side not my boss is super critical of all food. We went here just because he's never had it before. Yeah he was happy, asking to make this a weekly thing.”

“Decided to stop by for the first time while in the area for Grocery Outlet, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they had two sugar-free ice cream flavors of strawberry and pecan, which was great for a sugar-conscious person like me! So I decided to give ‘em a shot by getting a milkshake with a scoop of each, and it was delicious! 😋 The milkshake comes with two ice cream scoops and is large enough to easily suffice for two people. I’m really glad we made the stop here and highly recommend it for the large variety of flavors and dessert offerings, all made in-house! But be aware that it’s also quite pricey ($12 for the milkshake!), making it a great indulgence only once in a while, which honestly isn’t a bad limitation when it comes to ice cream…Overall, I give it a whole 5 ⭐️ for the delicious offerings that cater to those wanting to indulge without excessive sugar consumption, as well as for the great service and atmosphere! 👍
