Evelyn is the BEST waitress at Black Bear Diner in Oakley! We haven't been to the restaurant since COVID, yet she remembered us, brought us our beverages without us telling her, extra gravy without asking her, extra napkins without asking her. It has been over 5 years.

Food is always good. So is the ambience. It has a family feel, so we enjoy taking everyone here for breakfast. The servings are more than enough. My favorite is their bread pudding.
