I have been to this winery 3 times. When I was 11 years old with my family, when I was 27 years old I went there again with my parents and when I was 47 I visited again by myself. This was the winery we first visited when we came to this country and lived at in Stanford, CA.
A truly sensational discovery. A masterfully vinified Cabernet from the "Opus One" house which, in contrast to Opus One, is available in much larger quantities and has similar potential. Great with lamb, beef and venison, but also with Swiss Gruyère, if possible cave-aged, an absolutely appropriate accompaniment. Thank you Robert Mondavi Winery for the “small Opus One” that even average earners can afford.
If you have not been able to make a reservation for Opus One, you can purchase it at the shop without a reservation at Mondavi, so we recommend purchasing it. Because it is cost-effective, you can purchase it and drink it comfortably while traveling in the United States.
