I love this little gem in Oceano! It's great to grab a bite to take to the beach or bring home. Their clam chowder is excellent and highly recommend. I just had the second half of my order from last night, and it's just as good the next day with some San Luis Sourdough!

Great food shack right by the beach entrance, can't miss it as it's yellow and music is playing. It was not busy at all and the clam chowder and fish and chips was prepared quickly. Took it to go and the service was very friendly. The food was great, especially the chowder is delicious and the bread bowl portion is huge! The fish and chips are good, too. Very good fries, fresh and crunchy and the sauce for the fish is awesome! Only one of the three pieces of fish had too much batter on it, but the fish was delicious.

6 Months later, I just realized I didn't review this place!! Can't wait to come down from Canada to have some more Shrimp and chips. Best we had our whole 2 month trip. We had chowder at the other end of the beach, at a classier looking restaurant the night before. Slappy's blows them away!! Wife is the chowder connoisseur, she agrees with my 5 Star review!! Hope to see you soon (get the political circus under control soon pls)

We went for lunch. The place was close to the dunes. So if you're there to offroad, it's great. If you're there for some fish n chips or a date. Go someplace else.
This place was such a cool and cozy spot. There are not many spaces to sit so if you go in a group like I did, expect for some people to stand. But the food was amazing, I got their clam chowder and it was so delicious it made me feel so much better. On top of the fact it was right across from the ocean! And all the food my friends and I got was so beautiful and fresh, I was genuinely surprised. Very good and very much recommend giving it a visit when in town.

Amazing clam chowder bowl! Rated top 2 of my fav clam chowder spots on the Central Coast. Bread bowl, made of buttery sourdough bread, that's perfectly toasted, you get the top and insides to dip in your chowder. Service and atmosphere is always on point.

Great food. Breakfast burritos were really good. Tacos were also great. The clam chowder was pretty good but it was a little heavy with potato and less rich than Splash Cafe, which some people might prefer. The bread bowl was French bread, not sour dough. If you are expecting Splash Cafe chowder this is not that, but still decent.

Bad service with over charging system. She was trying to add orders that we didn’t even order, when we questioned her about the amount we found out she added hamburger, plus I found out they charged me more than extra $10 to my card when I check my credit card account this morning. SNEAKY!!!!!! Bad experience on our vacation!!!!!!!!
