Artifex in Oceanside is a taproom with a perfect location, friendly staff, and cool merchandise. The dog‑friendly patio and nice little outdoor seating in the back invite guests to relax. Inside, plenty seating with tables, booth and the bar offers a great atmosphere. Guests can bring your own snackies or grab pizza from next door, and the pizza spot nextdoor delivers food to your table at the taproom. The beer selection includes great beer, Forza Italian Pilsner, Sundream Hazy IPA, and other top‑notch options. The staff is super nice and always great, and the new manager is a delight. Live music and a good DJ playing music, including a vinyl‑only DJ set, keep the vibe lively. A couple tv’s for sports add to the fun. Guests often come for a few pints or beer to go. Overall, Artifex is a great place to enjoy beer, food, and good company.
