Artifex on Freeman

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We visited Artifex either the first or second week it opened, and we've been back nearly every weekend. Just a great atmosphere. Everyone is super cool, from the staff right down to the patrons. My last birthday was celebrated at Artifex and they were super accommodating. There are three eateries within walking distance. One is a pizza place literally next door. The pizza is great, and they will deliver while you chat it up and enjoy a pint. I really can't say enough good things about this brewery - but I'll try if anyone asks. Artifex Oceanside is great!!

Love the vibe here. Bartenders are awesome, great selection of beers(& seltzers), dog friendly, live music, food(corner pizza), and a couple tv’s for sports… this is where you want to go for beer in South O

Great beer! The staff is super nice and there was a really good DJ playing music. Also awesome that the pizza spot nextdoor delivers food to your table at the taproom.

Such a fantastic local brewery, I dreaded moving to Colorado and losing this spot. I used to come weekly and get the Orange You Different. I highly recommend. You won’t find a hazy like that anywhere else. Staff is extremely friendly too and atmosphere is great. You can have corner pizza delivered to you easily as well. They go well together. See you guys next time I’m in town!

Artifex is open in Oceanside!!! Their beers are great and the people are super friendly and helpful. The location being right next to Corner Pizza is perfect. South O needed something like this for a long time and they did not disappoint with the set up. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This has become one of my new favorite spots in Oceanside!

Good beer and comfort surroundings.

I have had many terrible experiences with them at their San Clemente location (the brewery, not Del Mar St) but their Oside spot has friendlier, down to earth staff and a more inviting vibe. Beer list is usually fairly extensive with maybe 3-4 really good ones and the rest being fairly middle of the road. The bonus here is you can order from Corner Pizza (directly next door). Parking is nearly exclusively street parking. Plenty of room for large groups, pets, kids.

Used to be better- but now I'm charged for drinks I didn't get and my friend had to ask for his change. I'll try it again if a friend drags me there otherwise I'm good.

Cool brewery, generally pretty busy. I especially like that you can order from the pizza place next door while having your beers! It’s also super dog friendly and they play good music.
