Black Plague beat all expectations by leaps and bounds. This place is the definition of cool and the beer is spectacular!! So much so….I bought a t shirt commemorating the Troublemaker IPA.
The space is gigantic, the vibes are a mix of brewery meets cool basement meets Medieval Plague hospital complete with a guillotine.
The Troublemaker (West Coast IPA) and Gothica are two strong recommendations with the emphasis on Gothica.
Worth the long venture from Oceanside, loved my evening at Black Plague!

I absolutely love this place! For starters, their IPA's are some of the best with an amazing variety. From traditional IPAs to seltzers to stouts. There's a little bit of everything for anyone in your group.
Inside, you have a great view of a lot of the brewing equipment they use and a cool Gothic/metal design with very welcoming and friendly staff that know their way around the brews.
Outside, they have a food truck called Full Metal Burgers that serves some very delicious and spicy food to compliment the beers you're throwing back. Great place to stop whether rain or shine. I will definetly continue to come back here.

Black Plague Brewing is great! There’s lots of seats/ tables, fun themed decor, and reasonable prices- and great vibes! My first visit was for trivia night and it was an awesome experience. Their IPAs specifically are tasty and there are lots of options! Good burgers too. I highly recommend this place.
