The breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee are the best! I have loved everything I've tried there! Sometimes service can be slow due to limited staffing, so if you're in a hurry, go somewhere else!? it's worth the wait! I usually get my order to go but there's indoor and outdoor seating.

Sandwich was decent but kind of lacked flavor. The pastries are good though.

We finished eating burgers at Tanners and were actually headed to Vigilante, but we stumbled past Blackmarket and thought we’d give it a try. We like the fact that they make their pastries, loaves of bread, and best of all, their syrups in-house. My friend’s almond latte was delicious and I went with my go-to iced dirty chai. I’ve had better chai but it was still good. The highlight of our visit was the heavenly apricot molasses cookie. Don’t pass this up, it is a worthy cookie!

Gooeie gooey fun city time is BEST way to describe this absolutely amazing place. A in-house bakery are rare enough to find in the first place in Southern California but they take it to another place by the amount of essence of that r&b kinda of love they put in their creations. I swear the bakers/artists (grand masters) have Sabrina Claudio, Daniel Caesar and Silk playing as they create their artwork. The amount of love they put in this.. it's like they're making love to the dough. Now I'm about to use songs to describe each inspirational treat I had: *sweet roll pecan - Naked by Marques Houston, *chocolate hazelnut braid - Cupid by 112, *poppins - Come & Talk To Me by Jodeci, *butter croissant - LOVE by Mysiq Soulchild, *chocolate raspberry scone - All to You - Sabrina Claudio, *cookies  - Invitation by JUNNY and *uncle (unc gotta say it with a southern accent) tigger - HOTEL LOBBY (literally was a party in my mouth lol). Call me weird but I relate great life experiences with songs. So thank you to everyone because this was masterpiece theater.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kids will LOVE this place but it's definitely for adults and foodies

Beautiful sit out area and ambience. Staff seemed inexperienced. Order taker could not explain what a brioche bun was. Chefs seem very slow and our order took longer than usual. We ordered a farmhouse croissant and Blat croissant. Overall nice place but can do better on service and getting the staff more knowledgeable and experienced and people confident. Food is priced high for the quality.

This place is a fantastic bakery, both to grab a muffin or croissant to go, or to order breakfast to eat there. Stellar food, service, and atmosphere. Wife and I went there with our 3 kids and everyone loved it.

The espresso and cold brew are exceptional. Really great customer service particularly from Ashley. She's so sweet. She suggested the banana flaxseed muffins which I'm thoroughly addicted to. Added bonus: they are vegan!

Stopped by to visit you bakery today. Girl that helped us was nice but told us we would have to wait a while to get our bread sliced since there was someone behind us, thought it was unusual that she just didn’t finish helping us. Was displeased to see that you baked items are not in an enclosed case, we noticed flies on the baked goods that weren’t in the case which was kinda gross. Looking forward to trying our loaf of bread, looks delicious

Tasty sandwich but quite small, and service was incredibly slow.

I recommend the almond croissant, warmed up. Very good bakery. Be aware parking might be a challenge but get in there!

A lovely bakery and new addition to Oceanside! We split a breakfast burrito, churro pastry, and got a loaf of the jalapeño and cheese brioche to go—everything was delicious! I'm planning on returning to try their tarts next.
