A great dining experience at Blade 1936, food was excellent and service was great I was able to make last minute reservation for New Year's Eve and it was an amazing experience to meet and enjoy a conversation with the owners, they make you feel welcome and it shows how much they care about their customers, the service and quality of their food Thank you !
We were initially disappointed as we made a reservation 2 weeks prior for 5:15. On arrival we were told we could not be seated + it could take an hour. But we had tickets for a 7 pm show. Why - they had so many reservations. And I had just talked with the restaurant the day before + confirmed through Open Table. While I was discussing the situation, a family walked out, and they did seat up at that table. But it was quite distressing that a reservation had been made + confirmed,...
The waiter was excellent, but the food was disappointing. The octopus was too salty and the chicken scalloping was bland tasting. The spicey muscles in a fresh tomato sauce was very good, however.
