Board and Brew makes awesome sandwiches. They have always been my favorites and I'm glad that there are so many locations in San Diego. Tried this location today. The food was excellent as usual. I had the spicy roast beef with au jus. It was outstanding. The place was crowded. However, my only gripe was that most of the tables were not clean and they seem understaffed and overstretched because of the crowds. Otherwise, food as usual was awesome.
It’s an Amazing Place with amazing sandwiches, yesterday was mine and my husband 2nd time going. BUT! this is the Second time I ask for Xtra Banana peppers & it always has so many of the Banana peppers tails in it!! They cut them so carelessly And if you’re not careful it’s easy to choke on them.
I think the sandwiches here are great, but I often get my sandwich not how I ordered it. I stopped coming for a while, but tried it again today, and guess I should have unwrapped my sandwich before I left, but its messy to wrap again.
If you want the sandwich exactly how it comes, they are really good. If you want to modify, definitely check your order before you leave. I'm giving up for a while.
