Wow, the girl with the green hair is insanely rude. She huffed and puffed the entire time. I’ve never left a ice cream shop feeling so angry in my life. I don’t even expect for you to be nice, just decent! Great ice cream, but I won’t be coming back knowing she’s there.

Love Cold Stone and been going to them for years all over the country. Usually a slam dunk when looking for a favorite.Not this one, ice cream was icy and lacked flavor. Employee had headphones in the whole time and didn’t do the order correctly. Should’ve gone with one of the local places nearby.

So rude, almost everyone here hates working their job, they dont even greet you when you walk in. So sad because everywhere else in Oside has nice employees! Wont be getting ice cream here anymore!

Could the people who work here care any less? I'm not sure if I've ever seen such a lackadaisical attitude. Not much emotion or help. Not very fast. Just going through the motions. Even the manager on shift who came out didn't seem to have much desire to help or move things along quicker. The manager (a younger lady) had her ear buds in both ears and was talking with customers instead of taking the ear buds out to talk. Basic decency (be polite) so it looks like you care and are listening (even if you were listening, which in her defense it seemed like she was). It's just simple manners/optics that elevate an experience.Save yourself and go down the street to Dairy Queen or Handles for cheaper ice cream and a better experience.

Closed 20 minutes early blaming the machine. My autistic brother wanted ice cream and we worked to get up here on time, and they're closed.

If you're in Oceanside this place is must to visit. Each time we visit Oceanside we end up our day walking there to buy delicious ice cream.

My girlfriend and I got out of the movie theater next door and went for some ice cream to end a nice evening out. As soon as I walked in I heard "WE'RE CLOSED!" I looked around and others were eating ice cream, but the worker again announced "WE JUST CLOSED!" I looked at my watch. "It's only 9:30!" I said. The same worker said, "It's 9:32. We close at 9:30!" Well, don't you suck! That's WAY too early to close ESPECIALLY when movies next door get out much later than 9:30! I was really trying to give you my money but if you don't want it I'll never bring it back. We ended up going to Handel's one block north. I was able to give them my money because they stay open until 11:00 every night. Goodbye forever, Cold Stone!

After a big fat local pizza dinner the best end to the day was getting a Coffee Lover's waffle bowl to enjoy on my long ride home! This store was BUSY but it was very well staffed and I got my ice cream ASAP. I apologize I didn't get a photo of my delicious ice cream, I was too busy devouring it!

Going to stone cold was great. The owner let us photographers explore the stone explain how they make the ice cream and clean their station to serve the customer. Lastly, give us a cone and the best ice cream I ever had in Oceanside.

Showed up 03/11/23 at 9:56. 4 minutes before closing. There was another couple inside ordering ice cream and 2 young men and an older woman with glasses working. As my girlfriend and I enter the woman says "we are closing sorry." I said what time do you close? Online says 10pm and she repeats "we are closing the couple in front of you is the last customer". Pretty disappointing they decided to close before their online stated hours and even be serving guests who were inside. Wrote this review out front in the few minutes I had to order and start enjoying my ice cream before they did officially close. Unfortunate service.

Just leaving cold stone! I won't be back! They are very unprofessional and decided to close at 9:45 PM when it clearly states on their website and on Google that they close at 10 PM... Nonetheless, 9:45 PM as a random time to close. See attached photos! Make sure you call before you head over... If you even want to head over because I see they have an average rating under two stars lol I know why... Save your money, your time and your calories go somewhere else!UPDATE: Went to Handels Ice Cream.... short drive down the road, they stay open and really friendly staff! Yayyyyy

Terrible customer service, brand representation and bait and switch tactics experienced at the Oceanside Pier location! The ice cream cupcakes I ordered were a visual disaster and looked nothing like what was marketed online! The store displays and product presentation appeared dirty, distasteful and neglected, the employees were sitting on the countertop when I walked in for my order and management was aloof and ineffectual at resolving my disappointment. People. Handels is less than a block away from this Cold Stone Oceanside Pier location. Do yourself a favor and get the real deal from Handels!!!!!

Workers are god awful, they ruined my friends and I's experience. They had attitudes, barely acknowledged us. Don't go there unless you want your day ruined. Ice cream was good though. The vibe inside is like a morgue so pick your poison.
