The food and service were great! Really nice menu lots of good options. Something for everyone. Great classic dishes and a few restaurant specials. I had chicken fried steak with awesome gravy. Next day had the seafood omelette both delicious. Good portions sizes.

We had breakfast here & would never have found it cause it's tucked back from main drag. The food is great as is the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Loved the ambiance because it was so local. Everyone knew everyone. My husband and daughter had lunch here a few weeks later and enjoyed the food a lot.

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a very long time. The seafood omelet with poached cod and shrimp was so delicious. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. You can tell everyone works as a team there and is extremely efficient. We went on a packed Easter Sunday and the 65 minute wait was well worth it. Coffee is strong and fresh, too!

Never been until this past Sunday. Had some friends visiting from out of town and we needed to meet in the middle. So we met at Dons. Place is very busy on Sundays so I got in line on the website. (Highly recommended btw.) We were seated about 10 minutes past the promised time. Considering the 20 people waiting outside...good job Don. Ordered bacon and eggs. Everything came out hot and fresh. We had fast service with fresh hot food and the prices were a step down from most places. I'll be back when I go up to Oceanside.
