The service was excellent, I sat at the bar and both bartenders were extremely friendly and pleasant. I took the bartenders recommendation on trying the fish and chips and was not disappointed, their twist is the cornmeal breading which gave it an excellent texture and crunch, the cod was a bit underwhelming in flavor but that’s expected when it’s fried. I love shoestring fries, and theirs were fried perfectly. The tartar sauce tasted in house made. A decent selection of bourbon...

We did a family dinner at the Flying Pig and everybody loved it!
First off, if you're going on the weekend, parking is tough but you will find a spot. If you don't, there is a paid lot across the way.
The location is in a lively part of downtown Oceanside and super friendly and safe.
The restaurant itself is cozy with a cool lodge type feel.
Service was very friendly and quick.
