Showed up on 8/24 and it's closed. It is becoming a different place.

Our family of 8 came here on Sat 8/23 but the place was closed down. So sad and hungry. So we went across the street to eat at Tanner's Prime Burger. Best burger in town!!

An absolutely 5-star experience from start to finish. As huge fans of the original San Juan Capistrano location, we had high expectations for Heritage Beer Co. in Oceanside, and they completely delivered. While the ordering style is a bit different, the soul and quality that make the Heritage name famous are proudly on display here.
What truly elevated our visit from great to exceptional was the service we received from Danielle. She greeted us with a warm and friendly smile the moment we arrived and was incredibly personable and professional throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, but it was her genuine, attentive nature that made our experience so memorable. Danielle is a true asset and a huge part of what makes this place so special.
The food was nothing short of fantastic. I ordered the Western Burger, and it was genuinely one of the top 5 best burgers I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and absolutely top-notch! I would order it again in a heartbeat. The elote corn I had as a side was equally delicious. My wife had the brisket mac and cheese and greatly appreciated the rich flavors; it was another clear winner.
We were also so pleased with how welcoming they were to our dog on the patio. The staff was very accommodating and kindly offered him a bowl of water, which is always a thoughtful touch that we appreciate.
Heritage in Oceanside is a must-visit. They have successfully combined incredible food, a great atmosphere, and truly outstanding service. We can't recommend it enough.

Show up and wait ten minutes to be acknowledged. The restaurant is not busy at all. Then when the server finally does arrive she smiles when she tells us they're only out of the following items: brisket, chicken, turkey, wings....and we were gone before we could hear the rest...

Dani the bartender and also our waitress is awesome. She was so attentive and had all the answers to any of my wife and I questions. We have been here several times and we have never had a bad experience. Can’t wait to come back here to enjoy the food and beverages.

Went to Heritage Beer on a whim & was pleasantly surprised.

Friendly, quick and professional service. Excellent in-house brew selection. The 3-meat BBQ Combo was tasty. Delish TX chili, nice Prime Tri-Tip/ribs & the brisket was decent.

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, but this place is worth a try!!

So so I’ve been heritage two times previously and I waited till the third time to write a review just in case. But unfortunately, it was the same thing. Service was good. The beer was cold, but they didn’t even have all the drafts they had on menu and it was extremely overpriced. I paid over $200 and the meat was dry and the portions were very small. Same thing as before I really wanna like this place seeing how it’s the only barbecue place in Oceanside, but once again 200 and some odd bucks after tip and I got dry meat and not even enough for four people as the Thing on the menu advertised

Spacious atmosphere with relaxing music playing. BBQ was delicious, especially their brisket. Highly recommend! Linda was very welcoming and awesome.

Worse service ever! We seated ourselves in the empty bar area where we were completely ignored, until the bartender finally took our order. I had to ask twice before we finally got our food-almost an hour after we sat down. Food was okay. Fries were good, chicken sandwich was not hot and cheese was not melted.

Our service was really good. Linda on this Friday night. The food was a 2 star I ordered the Bahn Mi. It should be on a French baguette. It came on a hoagie roll. The sauce was weak The “ street corn”
Was canned corn. My partner ordered the3 meat with brisket, tri tip and pulled pork This meat was not very tender or as smoked as what we can get up in Everett Wa. His sides were ok.

2nd review. I went back to give this place a second chance. I grew up in Central Texas and I can honestly say this is not Texas BBQ. The Brisket was dry and over cooked. The bark and cut of meat were too thin. Very disappointed!

Positive take aways: Nice establishment, convenient parking, and great waitress.
