Out hostess was really pleasant and took good care of us. They had a good jazz trio playing live music. It is small but nice inside and they are located right by Mission and Coast. We did a flight of different wines here. The Chardonnay is very light bodied. Not a whole lot of fruit or oak. They do an equal steel and barrel aging blend. Not my style for a Chardonnay. I did not care for the rose at all but my wife thought it was ok. The Shiraz is very light bodied. Not a lot of tannins and ready to drink. I am not a fan of Australian Shiraz and this did not make me appreciate it any more than past vineyards. The Zinfandel was their best serving. It is a light bodied zin with good fruit forward taste. Wine is definitely a very subjective, very individual driven preference. I would encourage a visit to this tasting room since it is so unique to have one in downtown Oceanside. At the very least you can try a really good Zinfandel.

French, Spanish tapas. Friendly staff if you know how to interact with them! Lots of charming women in a colorful deco. Has a European atmosphere.

Came in as soon as they open . Very knowledgeable and friendly bartender . He told us all about each wine. We did the tasting. I did the lighter one. Rose was my favorite Another person in our party did the darks. The 2013 was his favorite. Another park enjoyed the sangria. Very good . Atmosphere very nice. No crowd. .

Holme Estate Cellars Tasting room is a cozy and inviting spot. A most gracious wine host, Veda, shared the Australian Wine focus of Holme Cellars and we did a tasting of 3 different wines including a 2016 Rose, NV Brut Sparkling Wine and 2011 Special Release Shiraz. Veda explained that the Rose and Shiraz's were all sourced from Aussie grapes, which is reflected in both the wines and the laid back casual atmosphere or the tasting room.

Great ambience & customer service. Friendly, with no pressure. I am a bit of a wine snob, and I'm happy with the wine here. Their variety of Shiraz are especially nice. And their whites/rose are different from the typical wines you find at wineries (Chenin Blanc, and a Chardonnay that is a balance of oak & stainless steel). You can do a tasting of 3 wines for $15. Or you can buy a glass from between $8-13. Or buy a bottle for ~$30. The location is nice. The restroom is down the indoor common hallway of this strip of businesses.

Saw a travelzoo deal for this place and after seeing the good reviews decided to give it a try. So glad we did! We were a little larger of a group and the server was very accommodating and attentive even though he was the only one there and almost all the tables were full! The wines were great. I especially liked the Zin. If you are debating, go for it, you won't regret it!
