Thursday 1/30/24 I ordered a pastry and three shots of espresso with caramel toffee syrup and a cup of ice. I tipped the female barista $1.50. She grumbled something about charging for ice, which would be fine with me, and gave me the cup. I asked her for about an ounce of cream. She said ‘I will be telling the the other barista about this’. I thought that was weird, but I blew it off. Today, two days later, I ordered two shots of espresso with syrup, and she asked rudely ‘if I wanted a lot of cream like last time’ and I said ‘ No, and I did not ask for a lot of cream last time.’ She then said she felt uncomfortable serving me. I’ve been in this hospital for the last week almost all day and night with my sick mom and I’m really shocked by her rudeness in this environment. I have never been refused service and her behavior was appalling. FYI the other male barista is very pleasant when I ordered my coffee and pastry yesterday.
