Always super busy but well worth the wait. If they see you standing on line they will offer to reserve a table for you while you are waiting to be served. Nice! Others have raved about the chicken salad sandwich on croissant -- also my favorite, and I second the rave! Desserts to die for! Outdoor seating available. I have lunch here whenever I am in Oceanside.
We have loved Petite Madeline for a long, long time. So when we decided to get married, we knew there was only one option for the cake and desserts at the reception. We fed everyone a huge meal and then brought out the desserts. And they were gone in a short amount of time. Everyone we talked to said, “Oh, this is so good!” I was really surprised how fast the desserts and cake got eaten after how much food everyone already ate. But it is because Petite Madeline knows...
I actually do like this place, but I made the mistake of spending a lot of money on their food, and it was just not good unfortunately… their pastries however are fantastic and get a 10/10 from me, but their food seriously needs some work.
