The Breakfast Mug

The service was the best. The food was good and carefully prepared. Served hot as ordered. I just didn’t expect the salmon to be smoked and salty- it was on the menu that way- I just missed it. Everything else was fresh and yummy, my own error.

I really enjoyed the experience, will return and looking forward to trying new items.

I have been coming to this nice place for almost 8 months now and the staff is always friendly. The food is consistently good and you can choose to sit inside or out, which is always a plus.
Good place for family, a morning date, or solo.

A respectable homey family owned restaurant. I was satisfied with their amazing waffles. My server Jose was pleasant and attentive.

I wanted to like this place. It’s cute inside. The waiter was friendly…but often disappeared into the back. Other customers literally went to find him.

And the food is surprisingly mediocre. They have a house-made salsa that is quite good on eggs, and their bacon was crispy. Other stuff had a surprising lack of flavor. The biscuits and gravy were very bland (and clearly a Sysco product), as were the refried beans and hash browns.

I would skip this place. Average diners are better.

Affordable, delicious, and generous portions. We were staying at a hotel nearby, and the food at The Breakfast Mug was way better, and less expensive too. We came here more than once, and even with a big group, the service was great and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Was excited to try this spot after driving by it on way to work the past few years. I was disappointed with the food, my wife had breakfast burrito and I had omelet. Both dishes lacked seasoning or any special flavors. May not come back due to the underwhelming experience.

It's a cute place in a strip mall. No real atmosphere . We had lunch there and would like to go back for breakfast sometime. Our lunch sandwiches were all good.

Had to wait for just coffee. It took another 15 minutes to get my order. There was only one other table.
I got biscuits and gravy. He came back 3 time for my order. So about 45 minutes for me to get my order.

The food was a 7/10. The presentation of the coffee cups was poor with stains and it didn’t look very appetizing to drink. The food alone I’d say was not worth the prices. I’m not one to dislike food but I had an upset stomach after eating here. The service was not so great. I didn’t feel much welcomed especially by the gentleman he was very rude and I felt like he didn’t want me there.

The food was super yummy, but they need more staff as our waiter was doing everything. He was great, but WOW, overwhelmed! Folks must have found out how good the food is here because when we were seated, we were the third party in the establishment...by the time we left, I don't think there was an empty table! The avocado toast with egg on top, ohhh so good!! More staff, if you can, and this rating would be a 10++!!
