No one was out front and then we were told there’s no pies. Surprise display too, tiny pies that looked like store bought. Underwhelming, overpriced.

Traveled an hour to experience their food but they decided to close early on the night we arrived.

All the pies are delicious, I personally like the apple and blueberry ones .. the whoopie pie was outstanding too!! I’m a coffee lover and it was great too… the service was great and I think the pies are perfectly portioned!! I tried all the different types and I absolutely loved them… plus the “Top Gun” house movie reference was good..
Was excited to go in! Was my 1st time and I was enjoying the scenery and the pies and pastries looked great! The two young people never greeted me or acknowledged me and when I saw and mentioned what I thought was a chocolate pie; the young lady derisively and unenthusiastically said said while giving me a sideways glance “that’s a blueberry pie”. Great location but definitely disappointed by the customer service. Will try again another’s time :)

These were so yummy! Perfect size and great flavor! I got the cherry but other got apple and strawberry rhubarb and they loved theirs. The house was also adorably nostalgic with a great location.

We stopped by High Pie in Oceanside and sampled a little of everything. The whoopie pie was the weakest link — the cake part tasted like plain chocolate flour, dry and crumbly. The cream filling was fine, but overall it just didn’t land. The Rice Krispie treat was okay, but nothing memorable.
The pies, though? Absolute stars!!! The apple and guava pies had a gooey center packed with flavor and bliss — flaky on the outside, rich and delicious on the inside. I honestly just want a whole box of those! I’m not a cherry fan personally, but everyone else in my group really enjoyed the cherry pies too.
Service was a bit slow since the same person takes your order and then goes to make it, but for those apple and guava pies, the wait is worth it. The staff themselves were super polite and sweet.
And then the bonus: as a huge av geek and Top Gun fan, the movie memorabilia was chef’s kiss — especially the bike out front. Such a fun touch!

Flavorful little pies, perfect portion sized snack for a beach treat!! Friendly and fast service. Def worth visiting. The seasonal guava flavor was my favorite! Atmosphere is really cool too, if your a fan of the Top Gun film!!
4 stars for nostalgia.
Very long wait for food, and pricey.
I enjoyed my snack in the relaxing courtyard.

Literally shocked this place doesn't have 5*. The pies are super flaky and delicious, you'd never know they are GF. I am going to be dreaming of these pies every night. It's also so cute and the employees were super friendly! 10/10 recommend this to everyone.

The hand pies are delicious. Staff is less impressive! The gal who you place the order with acts like it's a chore for her to be working there. Not very welcoming at all! Sad.
