The Tin Fish is a must stop in Oceanside. I eat here at least once every time I’m in town. Outstanding food and service right under the pier! The atmosphere can’t be beat and the prices are reasonable for the area.The fish tacos are incredible!! They’re all good but I like the grilled Mahi Mahi!
I ordered the Halibut taco and was very satisfied, others I dined with had mentioned theirs were a bit dry. To each his own. Grey spot I enjoyed the atmosphere and there was plenty of seating for a Wednesday afternoon. Portion to price was acceptable. Service was a bit slow but I’m on vacation and not in a rush. Give it a shot. I enjoyed it.

OMG this cod fish taco was perfectly cooked, the Pico, seasoning, fresh lemon and sauce made every bite perfectly balanced ? ? ?That coleslaw is a MUST as well. Hands down my favorite of all time.
