This place is really cool. Such a cool vibe, decorated with vinyl records, saxophones, and lots of other really cool things. The owner, Tim, is very friendly and attentive. The drinks were on point, really good! We had the pizza, really good too. I definitely recommend this place. They have live music and a comedy night. I'll for sure be back!

I really loved the ambiance and live jazz music. But that’s where it stopped. The decor was haphazardly done, bar is dirty and unorganized. The service was the worst part.I was ignored and not acknowledged for some time. The bartender / owner role never plays out right. Drinks are weak and governed pour spouts are used. While I understand the purpose of this however if a governed pour is offered it should be priced accordingly. Our drinks must’ve been $20 ea because our tab was $120 with tip for 6 generic beverages. Though, I wouldn’t know because no itemized bill was offered whatsoever, a very shady practice. I say shady because as a bartender I seen other shady practices performed behind the bar.I’m an understanding patron but unethical practices is where I draw the line, so I won’t return.

In Oceanside one of the rarest places with terrible food. Our waitress was very unfriendly and un attentive. Music was ok but we have much better choices in townthat I definitely won’t be coming back !

Spinach dip and flat bread pizza were very good. Had a very nice relaxing vibe but when the band was playing it was way too loud to enjoy it. The small building was the biggest problem. Sitting nearly elbow to elbow to the person next to you and even the servers were having trouble walking past at times.Parking: A very small nearby lot, had to find street parking near the houses a block away

We didn't even know they had food. We were never offered a menu. We came for the music, which was very nice. (Maybe look for another vocalist? but the music was great.) Standard fare for the drinks, and less than good service from the bartender. He seemed to be involved with some groupies and barely looked our way the whole time we were there.

Super small, slow service, limited menu. I enjoyed the live singer but really would hate to be in the place when it was crowded. Go here if you love live music and don't mind feeling like a sardine. Wouldn't recommend for a nice dinner.

This place was cool. The live music was fun and both of the cocktails I had were pretty good. The bartenders were not memorable for better or worse. It's pretty dang cramped where the actual bar is though and it took a long time to get a drink. A three feels too low, but a four feels too high for me (it's like a 3.8/5) I think I'll revisit it and write another review depending on that experience.

This place is a gem!! My husband and I were having a date night in the Del Mar area on a recent Saturday night but were (somehow) struggling to find live music nearby so we headed back to Oceanside where we live and decided to check out The Jazzy Wishbone. We used to frequent this little cluster of storefronts many years ago when Bessie's 1929 Cafe was still open (RIP) and we've watched various new businesses come in and out since then. When we drove past on our way to find parking, we noticed it looked packed inside so we almost decided not to even try, but changed our minds once we found easy parking, ready to move onto a Plan B if it was a bust. Fortunately when we shimmied in there was a two-top that had just opened up, so we snagged it. The inside is TINY (mostly narrow), and was filled wall-to-wall with patrons enjoying the live jazz band that was performing. My husband grabbed us a drink at the bar and we sat back to enjoy the tunes. Drink prices were standard/reasonable, and there was a pretty good offering of food but having just come from dinner we didn't order anything this time around. I was amazed to realize right away that the ensemble performing looked incredibly young and I learned from speaking with one of the people sitting nearby that they ranged in age from 14 to 17 years old, and they were all so talented! I believe they hail from Young Lions Jazz Conservatory, a local nonprofit that is dedicated to fostering the appreciation and development of jazz in young musicians. My husband and I had previously had every intention of just stopping into The Jazzy Wishbone for a brief time before moving on, but we both agreed to just finish out the night there because we were having such a great time. As the musicians finished their set and the night drew to a close, my husband and I both agreed this will be one of our go-to places going forward because we had such a fabulous time. Thank you to The Jazzy Wishbone, we can't wait to come back!

I had a lemon drop cocktail, and it was the worst lemon drop cocktail i've ever had, but I love the whole atmosphere, I love live music, and the open mic comedy was entertaining. I'd go again! I didn't notice that they had any food. Didn't see anyone eating anything, and I was hungry!
