Vegetarian friendly
Appetizers were mediocre- garlic parm fries were ok and artichoke spread bread was not good at all.
The red pepper pesto pizza was great, they also could make it half and half to accommodate different toppings

Privateer knows how to put together a dish. The food from salads to sandwiches and pizcare, exceptional. Unfortunately they have fallen towards what many other businesses have since COVID, change in service staff from customer satisfaction, to a feeling they are doing you a favor by serving you, plus 20%+ tip. It has been this way the last few months of visits. We turn up our friendliness to counter the dismissive vibe, but it doesn’t seem to help.

This review is a long time overdue. We have been coming to The Privateer for 8 years as a family, at least once a month or more. Family owned and operated, friendly staff who has become family too, excellent menu with options and seasonal changes. It’s the local neighborhood spot and we love it.
