I went to the rooftop bar as it’s promoted as part of the Seabird / Mission Pacific family. We went upstairs and waited for the host. We were standing around for several minutes. Many other staff members passed by until finally someone stopped to greet us. The host informed us that we needed reservations because it was very busy even though over half of the tables were empty at the time that we arrived. She then said she could put us on the waitlist, but her attitude was very much that she really didn’t care/leaning towards not wanting us be patrons there.
We just said never mind.
I am just so confused because the two hotels are next to each other and at Seabird everyone is always so nice and so welcoming so it was just shocking to have such a different demeanor and experience from the staff at The Rooftop Bar of the Mission Pacific Beach Resort.

Went here to have a drink before heading to the Airport. Jordan was our waiter/bartender. I never leave reviews but Jordan made me the best Keylime pie Martini . I had one the day before at 333 and never thought I would taste one better than that one until yesterday when Jordan made me one. He is a super bartender and such a friendly human! Thank you Jordan !! This will be my new spot everytime I visit Oceanside.

Such a beautiful place to enjoy a beautiful beverage or meal during the sunset or catching sun during the day. The food and drinks are decorated very aesthetically. Kyle was very attentive. He had amazing service and a bright smile that was very welcoming. Will be back
“it is incredibly important that everyone has an exceptional experience at our Rooftop Bar”. This generic statement couldn’t be further from the truth and is not how this business operates. HORRIBLE host and wait staff. The only thing this business has is a great view but you can get a great sunset view at other close by restaurants. Believe the many, many bad reviews and go somewhere else.

The food was delicious!! We had the artichoke, so good I ordered it twice. The whipped feta, amazing and the chips (just ok). The drinks were super good and creative. The atmosphere is super cool, the view incredible and the music great. I love they bring in a DJ every couple of days. Service was awesome, always professional and they took good care of us. Jennifer was Excellent!! She was so fun, nice and helpful. She took excellent care of us. Her service would be another reason for us to go back. Thank you!!

If I could rate less I would. Your hostess is beyond rude so we walked out and will not be back. I highly recommend downstairs High and Low restaurant for a sunset over this place! They have friendly servers, prompt service, and you get a better sunset in my opinion! I will not be back, will not recommend The Rooftop Bar to anyone. Believe the reviews in regard to their snooty booty attitudes.
