Highly recommend! Great food, staff, and atmosphere right near the beach. Got a tour of the kitchen after our meal which was so cool!

The service is impeccable. Lots of unique flavors! I’ve eaten at many Michelin restaurants and 20 of the “50 best restaurants” in the world. The chef has a penchant for piquant acidity that is intentional on several dishes. You’ll learn about many Mexican ingredients. We had a gorgeous sunset which played out cinematically from our patio table which we requested specifically for the view over the ocean. However if you want an elevated experience I would recommend requesting to eat in the well designed dining room. Primarily because you may not want to have cars so prominent to your dinner. We will certainly take the cars though for the amazing sunset we had.

If spending $500 is a lot of money and you don’t frequently seek out Michelin restaurants, I’d encourage you to try another tasting menu first. However, if one of your passions is exposing yourself to new flavor combinations then do see what this restaurant celebrating the flavors of the Valle Guadalupe wine region in Mexico’s Baja California has to offer.

We had the 7 course tasting menu with accompanying wine pairing course. The pours were ample. We enjoyed every pairing but beyond tasting each glass could not consume that much wine.

Isaiah was an incredible host.

It wasn’t great… hear me out.

Four course pairing with wine pairing.

Wine pours are somewhere between 0.4-1.0 ounce, which barely gives you enough to taste the wine let alone enjoy it with the dish being served.

The steak came out cold and lacked any level of flavor. We did the uni topping on the bone marrow tartare, and tasted very odd (we’ve had uni many times).

Service was good, likely the main reason this is Michelin.

I wouldn’t go back to be honest. Wasn’t worth the money.

Like most Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to, the service was the most memorable aspect. Of the 8 course menu, I don’t recall anything that was like ‘wow’.

We had an incredible anniversary at Valle!

So here’s the scoop, we visited a few months back and our experience wasn’t bad, but we left a little underwhelmed. We decided to give it another go, and it completely exceeded expectations! The service was top notch, many of the meals left us speechless, and the overall experience was a solid 10/10. No doubt we will be back again!

Absolutely the most over rated restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Shockingly bad; it just tastes like cheap ingredients used in the most uncreative ways.

Unique experience! We ordered chef's table. The food was a combination of art and delicacy. The saff and chef were super nice and lovely. The food was amazing. We were impressed by the creativity of the chef. Jesse was a master artist in action! We were memorized by his punctuality and delicate work. Highly recommended for those who enjoy the quality of food and care about what they eat!

Just returned from our first experience here and in no way will this be our last. It was an absolutely amazing experience that brought back so many memories of my father’s cooking in new and interesting ways throughout the dinner. I can not say enough about our experience and we hope to be regulars for years to come.

As a quick note: For some of the negative reviews you will read here, just note: this is a fine dinning restaurant and a strict cancellation policy is standard. A quick look at Addison and you will see the same policy as the amount of time, attention, and quality that is brought into every diners experience is evident the moment you walk into Valle. I hate starting with such a negative tone but reading through some of the negative reviews just blows my mind.

First of all, the service was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, it felt like we were guests in this family’s home. Every person knew our names, that we were celebrating our 15th anniversary, and took more that a passing moment to make us feel truly at home. And during our dinner, it truly was a ballet that every member was a part of in how the food was presented to us, the clearing and laying of new place settings, and anticipating our every move throughout the service. We never felt rushed, we never felt a nuisance, and they answered any question we had about the food as each plate came across. A quick tour of the kitchen and you can tell the level of care and creation that go into each dish. We also had a chance to meet and talk with the chef and look forward to seeing them all again soon.

And that brings us to the food, and it brought smiles across our faces throughout the evening. This is using Mexican ingredients and using them in various unexpected ways to create tastes and flavor profiles that can hit on memories or create new ones after each plate. This also means if you don’t like corn, might not be a spot for you. If you are unwilling to try mole, might not be the right fit. But if you are willing to trust the chef here and try every dish as intended, you will not be disappointed. From the fish taco amuse bouche to the mole onion tart, to the black cod, and finishing with the corn ash macaron, every dish was excellent and left us wanting to try the next dish. I loved every bite and felt very sad that I could not finish our lamb barbacoa as we were too full and still had 3 desert dishes left to go!

Thank you again to Nick who was our master of ceremonies for the evening, but also to everyone of you who joined us tonight. We will be back many times and look forward to trying the spring menu soon!

Absolutely terrible reservation policy and rude front of house staff suggesting that since we had a death in the family that we should “gift the dinner to someone” since we can’t reschedule is more than 1x. Major red flag which prompted me to look and see just how busy they are and unsurprisingly there are plenty of open reservations that evening indicating these reservation tactics are all about the money up front. This is how restaurants that fail operate. And I would bet anyone willing to take it this restaurant won’t last 2 more years.

Came on here to write a 5 star review because of the amazing experience I and my friends had here in March 2025. I was very surprised to see several 1 star reviews. I’m glad I DIDN’T see these beforehand, because it may have swayed my decision to book it. We had such a great experience. Food was unique and very tasty. Staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. The service was top notch, ballet-like orchestration. Afterwards they allowed us to tour the kitchen. Pristine. Seriously one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in my life. We drove up from San Diego and it was well worth the trip. I plan to come back when I’m in the region and book the chef’s table experience. I also have it on the target map to make it to their sister restaurant, Malva, in Baja. So amazing.

The food can be really hit or miss. Often though the food is average and not worth the prices. No real special courses that stand out.
