Staying nearby with family, we came here for dinner before heading out to the theatre.
We couldn't fault it. The food was fantastic. Between us, we had the burger, a salad (that was so plentiful we took what we couldn't manage, home with us) and a very tasty sandwich. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We're definitely coming back next time we're in the US đDefinitely recommend it here.

Cute Vegan place with some good options. Three of us visited & we each tried everything that was ordered.
The Veggie Sandwich was really good. The fries were great & the sauces were very unique. Two of the dishes didn't really agree with our taste buds (The Spring Roll & The Wagama Bowl). Good quality fresh food... we just weren't big fans of the bowl or the intense flavor dynamic & herbs in the Spring Roll.
We also tried a couple cookies & a brownie... they were slightly dry but decent. The choc chip was prob the best one we tasted. To be fair... we were there near closing time at the very end of the day.
I would definitely return if i'm ever in the area again to try some other dishes. We may not have chosen the best options for us.

Great vibe the minute you walk in the door of this cute cafe!
The fries with homemade dipping sauce were some of the best weâve ever had! We were too scared to try the âGunpowder Friesâ but for folks who like spicy I bet they are amazing. We also had the Tiger Bowl, which was a delightfully unique combination. Everything was priced reasonably.

The food honestly wasnât great, not bad. Part of the issue was not listing all the ingredients on the menu. Example: on the menu there werenât tomatoes listed but there they were, same with the salad only with cucumbers instead of peppers⊠I loathe cucumbers. If Iâm able to return Iâll order something different and see if that works. After we ate, a local recommended the veggie burgers, so try that.

Playing really good music ranging from Vietnamese to Reggae, this place knocks our socks off. We had the banh mi, the spicy torta, the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and it was ALL vegan!!! They spared no expense for taste, and the staff was superb. We can't wait to go back.

A solid vegan spot đ±đź After a disappointing tofu dish last time, I was skeptical. I checked the menu beforehand but wasnât thrilledâtwo dishes were too spicy, and the third had tempeh (not my thing). Still, I gave it another shot, and Iâm glad I did. The best options were on the specials menu. My group ordered from the main menuâa burrito (solid) and a Wagamama Bowl (also good)âwhile I went for the âLime of Coconutâ special, which was very good. Prices are reasonable, the ambience is pleasant, and overall, it was a much better experience than last time. Would returnâbut probably sticking to the specials!
Riding in on the Ventura river trail, we were famished. Rolled up to Hip Vegan and WOW. The food and service was so amazingâ it was like that burger or pizza after a 5 day backpacking trip. I challenge any carnivore to try the old fashioned burger and not be completely satisfied. It is that good. Combined with the on site fries with on site dip sauce, again WOW. You owe it to yourselves to try Hip Vegan. You will be stoked. Right off of 33

Got the wagamama bowlâŠit is probably/arguably the best bowl I have ever had - vegan OR not.
No, itâs not cheap at its $18 price tag, but with the flavor it has WHO CARES. This bowl is absolutely AMAZING. Should I be rating an entire restaurant based off 1 dish? Maybe not. But between the flavors of the meal and the peripheral considerations (the speedy service, the serene outdoor patio, the well kept tables, etc.), I feel no reservations doing so.
Whether youâre vegan or not, patronize hip vegan!
