This has been our go-to breakfast place for special food, service and ambience for the past 13 years. Today's breakfast was no exception. it was wonderful! We used to come on the Monday following every holiday. We are so sad to see it closing. You can never be replaced!!

Apparently this restaurant doesn’t accommodate groups. Came on a Tuesday morning 8:00, few others here. Was told we couldn’t have a small group (6) for a business meeting. Okay, there are lots of other options.

They are selling and the quality is gone! The frys were very undercooked the tritip was dry and terrible. The salad was fine. We will not be back, maybe a new owner can turn it around. Also it was very expensive for what it is.

We lived in Ojai for almost 20 years and this was always one of our favorite restaurants. Our family is here on vacation and we enjoyed an incredible breakfast! Highly recommend

Omg , this was so good. We had the California eggs as well as make your own omelet. Coffee was great too. We ate at the front little patio where dogs were allowed. Unfortunately it’s only “to go” as dogs were not allowed in the restaurant patio. That was only draw back.

This breakfast place was not what I expected at all. Wait staff was excellent, however the food was not good at all. I ordered the Quiche and it was hard and could barely use my fork to cut into it as it tasted like it came out of the microwave. Their homemade scones were so dry I had to down it with a glass of water before I choked. My moms breakfast was cold (egg and hash browns ) . The manger was extremely Nice and said we did not have to pay. Maybe it was just an off day for the cooks.

Most of my meals there have been great and the ambiance is GREAT, but the last time my eggs were actually quite gross. It must have just been the cook that day as I've been coming here for over 15 years! We love you Cafe Emporium and hope you never close with the d*** LA transplants wanting only bland beige Boho spots everywhere. Please keep your charm!

Very convenient & well located with parking - had a very nice brunch - 1st time inside (very few other people - way more outside in shaded area) in 15 months. I am a strict vegetarian for over 50 years & selection is maybe 5% BUT my sandwich very tasty for sure & the service very nice.

Was just looking for a quick grab of coffee and it tasted practically like water and milk. total disappointment. after one sip it went directly to the trash.

I'm not sure it's because they are for sale and looking for a new general manager, but the quality has taken a sharp decline. Out of everything. Had to keep asking for salt and pepper. Never bright more napkins. It too 30 minutes to my side of gravy. By then my food was cold. Several of the dishes tasted bland. This use to be the best place to eat in Ojai.

It has changed a bit. The muffins were so dry and the coffee was not as good as it had been. The potatoes were under cooked and flavorless. Not sure when or if we will go back. Used to be our favorite place to eat for any celebration.

Hands down the best grilled vegetable sandwich ever!! Shaved eggplant, zucchini, peppers....not sure what else but it was great! And the Turkey Sandwich was good too! Very glad we found this spot!
