Food was a little underwhelming. Service was good but they made some mistakes which they apologized for. Mac and cheese was way too bland for our taste.

Really enjoyed the blue grass brunch, both food and music as well as the bottomless mimosas š
We had Thanksgiving dinner. Buffets are always problematic, though at this price I expect the hot dishes to be hot. Service involved being served two bottles of wine and filling water glasses. Carrots were unevenly cooked, some mushy, some tough. Marinated pear slices were nice. Desserts tasted like yesterday's.
Nice staff, lovely outside area with heatlamps available. Great inside area with couches, fireplace and bar.
Very good ice latte, food is decent but not anything special.

As always, a gorgeous spot for relaxing while sharing a lovely breakfast with friends. The menu offers selections to suit every palette, made with dependably quality ingredients. The recipes may lack pizazz, but the setting more than makes up for it!
I really love this place. Delicious food and great customer service.

We took our family for our wedding anniversary. Ambiance was outstanding, service was outstanding, food was ok. I had pork schnitzel, it was over fried. My wife had the rotisserie chicken, it was over salted. Kids had the chicken tenders and fries, they were outstanding. Wine and Old Fashion also outstanding. Our waiter Tyler was awesome!!
We went to dinner at The Oak at the Ojai Valley Inn. The grounds are gorgeous and we got to see the sunset and the āpink mountainsā.
The Oakās ambiance was wonderful as was our server, Paul. I loved sitting outside under the cozy heat lamp. We shared a wedge salad which was delish, but the roasted chicken was super salty and I wasnāt a fan of the fried chicken bites appetizer.
Didnāt love the food, but itās truly beautiful.
Pics of our view of the trees lit up over the golf course.

This venue has really gone down hill. Our third year in a row and service and staff attitude all over the hotel was sub-par.

We waited 35 minutes after being seated before anyone acknowledged us. The food was good once it finally came, but the lack of management and oversight was very apparent.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner complete with a thoughtful lavender pot de creme on the house. The service was fantastic- the salads and main dishes surprisingly mediocre. The appetizer fried chicken bites delicious. A nice evening in a beautiful setting but for the price not impressive.
The service and atmosphere are phenomenal! There were some issues with a couple of the items: the foraged mushrooms were a little too salty, I found grit inside of one of my scallops, which, when I brought to their attention, they replaced the one scallop and also offered to make a new plate and the crab dip's flavor profile was a little bit off, basically bland. ļæ¼
This place was amazing! The ambiance was so great and the grounds were perfectly landscaped and so beautiful! My husband and I came here for a drink during the famous āpink moment. We sat by the fire pits, and it was very relaxing. Honestly, how we just walked down the path a little bit further we wouldāve gotten a better view of the mountains and the notorious pink moment than sitting at the fire pits. My husband got an old old-fashioned and it was actually so delicious. I had a glass of wine and it was very good. There are four pools at the resort and they are all absolutely stunning! We didnāt eat any food here, so I cannot speak to the quality of that. Overall, I highly, highly recommend this resort! ā¤ļø

The property is beautiful and the staff were lovely, but unfortunately the meal was very disappointing. The crab dip had no crab flavor and was grainy, the steak came out medium well (ordered medium rare) and the au poivre had no flavor, aside from a very burnt taste. We love a char on a steak, but this was beyond that and the peppercorns or the steak itself were very burnt. We also ordered the little neck clam pappardelle, and the pasta was clearly fresh and homemade, but it was sitting in a pool of butter, and there wasn't much else to the sauce besides the butter taste. This also caused the pasta to disintegrate into small pieces. The Brussel sprouts were also tasty but also sitting in a pool of oil. Disappointing given how excited we were for the visit, but it was still nice to see the property and sit outside.
