We shared an extraordinary dining experience at Olivella at the Ojai valley inn this weekend. This 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings was nothing short of sublime. We started with a Himachi Crudo Amuse Bouche, worked through a Caviar presentation, a pasta course, Exquisite wagyu A5 steak and ended with the light as cloud desserts. First of all the ambiance ,decor and seating are impeccably beautiful and comfortable . A real cozy and warm atmosphere . The service was above and beyond, courteous , friendly and knowledgeable. Loved everything except the Trout. It didn't agree with me for some reason. But our server was excellent- truly, she was excellent. The service from each server was perfect. The ambiance was wonderful. It did get a little loud at times, but I don't mind that. The only thing not perfect was the trout, and that could just be a me problem. Overall just wonderful!! Highly recommend.
