We loved our experience at The Oaks! The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, peaceful and the service was warm and attentive. It was the perfect Ojai dining experience, we can't wait to return.
The service was wonderful and the ambiance is great. The food is good, but the portions have gotten smaller and very pricy. They need to change their menu. It has been the same for several years.
The staff was very helpful. The setting was beautiful and when I asked for our table to be in a different place we were accommodated graciously. We (7 of us) were celebrating my mom's 96th birthday and lunch was a very appropriate time and place. My only complaint is that the food - though very fresh - didn't have much flavor. It was cooked and presented beautifully but needed a little more seasoning and the salad didn't seem to have much dressing. I was glad to...
